Creative announced its all-new ZiiSound D5 one-piece wireless speaker system that uses the Bluetooth technology. The system can seamlessly stream music from any compatible Bluetooth devices such as cellphone, Bluetooth PMP, notebook/netbook. The D5 is a recent winner of the German-based “red dot award: product design 2010” in the Audio Category.
Using the bundle iPod Transmitter (Creative BT-D5) and the $39.99 USB Bluetooth Transmitter (Creative BT-D1), wireless music streaming also works with iPhone/iPod and any PC with USB port. Creative‘s one-piece system features apt-X low latency audio codec for stereo Bluetooth audio, full-frame monocoque exoskeleton for maximum rigidity, in-house acoustics tuning and modelling. It also docks iPhone/iPod for playback and charging.
The Creative ZiiSound D5 also offers AUX-in for connecting other audio devices. It is available now for $299.99.
