AMD announced the new ATI FirePro V8800 professional graphics card. The V8800 sports a GPS with 1600 stream processors and 825MHz core clock speed, and 2GB GDDR5 memory with 147.2GB/s bandwidth. It features the ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology that is capable of driving up to four independent 30-inch displays.
The FirePro V8800 supports DirectX 11.0, OpenGL 3.2, Shade Model 5.0 as well as ATI CrossFire Pro. It uses PCI Express 2.0 x16 interface and offers four DisplayPorts supporting a max resolution of 2560×1600 at 60Hz.
The ATI FirePro V8800 costs $1499.
