Sanyo announced a new WXGA projector, the LP-WM5500 with a high 5,500 lumens brightness. Ideal for use in lecture halls and large conference rooms, the LP-WM5500 features 1280×800 WXGA resolution, 800:1 contrast ratio 90% uniformity and of course a brightness at 5500 ANSI Lumens.
Sanyo‘s LP-WM5500 features the New Optical Engine, Active Maintenance Filter system (AMF) and the “Picture-in-Picture Mode” and “Picture-by-Picture Mode” for simultaneous projection of two images. The projector has one HDMI 1.3 input, D-sub, composite, component, S-video and 3.5mm audio jack. It also provides Ethernet LAN port, USB port and a D-sub 9 control port.
Sanyo LP-WM5500 will be released on 21 June for 1,047,900 yen.
