QNAP adds to its Business Series the new TS-559 Pro Turbo NAS server. The VMWare-ready NAS is powered by Intel’s Atom D510 dual core processor and 1GB of RAM. It has five hot-swappable drive bays for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives, supporting up to 10TB of storage capacity.
The TS-559 Pro supports RAID 0/ 1/ 5/ 5+ hot spare/ 6/ 6+ hot spare/ JBOD, online RAID capacity expansion, online RAID level migration and RAID recovery, as well as iSCSI. It includes 256-bit AES volume level encryption for maximum data security.
The QNAP TS-559 Pro has five USB ports, two eSATA ports and LAN port.
