Microsoft announced three new LifeCam webcams, the HD-5000, HD-5001 and HD-6000 all with 720p HD widescreen sensor and auto focus technology. They also feature Microsoft’s True Color technology that includes face tracking technology.
Microsoft LifeCam HD-6000
The $49.95 LifeCam HD-5000 and the LifeCam HD-5001 are actually identical except the latter have a custom design with a white faceplate and is BestBuy exclusive. They have a flexible attachment base that bends to fit on most surfaces. The LifeCam HD-6000 sports a 360-degree rotation view and comes with a three-foot card and carrying case. It is priced at $59.95.
