LG Korea officially announced the SnapDragon-powered Maxx LU9400, which is previously leaked as the Arena MAX. Like Google’s Nexus One, Toshiba’s TG02, K01, and HTC’s HD2, Desire, the Maxx is powered by SnapDragon platform running at 1GHz. Though powered by the same processor, the LU9400 is equipped with Qualcomm’s QSD8650 chipset that supports CDMA 2000 EVDO Rev. 0/A/B 3G networks instead of the QSD8250 used on other SnapDragon phones, which supports GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA.
The Maxx features a 3.5-inch WVGA LCD touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera, integrated GPS, WiFi and built-in T-DMB mobile TV tuner. It supports HD video recording and playback of DivX video. LG’s S-Class 3G UI is included.
