At the MWC 2010, Sony Ericsson introduces the Xperia X10 mini (aka Robyn) and the Xperia X10 mini pro with a side-slide QWERTY keyboard, both are mini versions of the Xperia X10. Based on the Android 1.6 OS, the two sister phones feature the company’s UX platform UI.
The X10 mini and X10 mini pro include the signature application Sony Ericsson Timescape which brings all communication together in one place so users can see at a glance text messages, missed calls, and Facebook and Twitter updates, and the four corner control. They sport a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, a 2.55-inch 240×320 QVGA scratch resistant touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and microSD card slot.
Sony Ericsson’s X10 mini and X10 mini pro support WCDMA/HSPA 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks and will be available in Q2. The former will come in Pearl White, Black, Pink, Lime, Red and Silver colors while the latter in Black and Red.
