Acer, other than the flagship Liquid e, introduces the beTouch E400 and beTouch E110 smartphones, both running Android unlike the three old beTouch models. The E400 is the more advanced model powered by Qualcomm 7227 600MHz processor and runs Android 2.1 Eclair OS while the E110 is an affordable phone with 416MHz CPU and Android 1.5 with Acer’s special UI.
The beTouch E400 has 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. It features a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g. It has 3.5mm jack and a microSD slot. DocumentToGo and nemoPlayer are pre-loaded. It will be released in April.
The entry-level beTouch E110, on the other hand, has 256MB RAM. It sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth but lack WiFi. 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot are available. It will come in black and dark blue and be released in March.
