AMD announced the ATI Radeon HD 5450 GPU, the latest addition to the Radeon HD 5000 series. The new GPU is designed to deliver “Enthusiast Video Game Features and HD Multimedia Capabilities at an Entry-level price”. It boasts support for DirectX 11, ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology and ATI Stream technology.
The Radeon HD 5450 features an engine clock speed of 650Mhz offering 104GigaFLOPS processing power, and up to 800MHz DDR3 memory clock speed. It supports OpenGL 3.2 as well as AC3, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio formats.
The ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card uses PCI Express 2.1 x16 bus interface and provides DisplayPort with max output of 2560×1600, HDMI 1.3 and VGA.
