Nikon announced the new CoolPix P100 digital camera that get a 26x Optical Wide Angle Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens and a 10.3-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor. The P100 features high-speed shooting at 10fps and an in-camera high dynamic range (HDR) function, which merges images of the same scene to achieve a single image with a broad range of tonal detail.
The CoolPix P100 features Enhanced Face-Priority AF, Subject Tracking, Active D-Lighting, Blink Proof, Sport Continuous Scene Mode and Night Landscape Mode and the 5-Way Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization System, which includes optical VR, Hybrid VR, ISO 3200, Motion Detection and Best Shot Selector.
The P100 has a 3-inch LCD display. It is Nikon’s first compact camera to offer 1920x1080p Full HD video recording. The Nikon P100 will be available in March 2010 for $399.95.
