Synology DiskStation DS1010+
Synology introduces the new DiskStation DS110j and DS1010+ network attached storage solutions. These DS110j and DS1010+ both support iSCSI storage management, DLNA/UPnP Media Server and iTunes Server. Both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives/SSDs are supported.
Synology DiskStation DS110j
The 1-bay DiskStation DS110j is boosted by a 800MHz processor and 128MB of memory. It supports up to 2TB of capacity and offers three USB 2.0 ports for external hard drive. There is a Gigabit Ethernet port.
The Diskstation DS1010+, on the other hand, is a 5-bay NAS powered by Intel Atom D510 1.67GHz dual core processro, 1GB of RAM. It supports up to 10TB (2TBx5) capacities and offers four USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port and two Gigabit Ethernet LAN. The DS1010+ supports JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 5+Spare, RAID 6 configurations.
