MainGear announced the new F1X series gaming PC that is powered by an overclocked Core i7 processor. Three models are launched, the $5,159.99 F1X 750, the $3099.99 F1X 500 and the $2249.99 F1X 200. All of them are equipped with Maingear X20 maintenance free watercooling solution.
First, MainGear’s F1X 750 is powered by a Intel Core i7-975 overclocked to 3.6GHz processor, 12GB of triple channel DDR3 RAM, and dual ATI Radeon HD5870 1GB graphics card. It packs 80GB Intel X-25 SSD, a 1.5TB hard drive, 6x Blu-ray burner, 22x DVD SuperMulti burner and a 1000W Silverstone power supply.
The F1X 500 gets Core i7-950 overclocked to 3.3GHz, 12GB DDR3 RAM, dual 1GB ATI Radeon HD5770 graphics while the relatively less powerful F1X 200 sports Core i7-750 overclocked to 2.93GHz, dual Radeon HD5750 graphics and 8GB of RAM. Both models have 1TB hard drive and a 22X DVD burner.
