Garmin announced the zumo 220, a rugged affordable motorcycle GPS navigation device. The zumo 220 features a 3.5-inch color, rugged touchscreen and provides turn-by-turn directions via the built-in speaker or compatoble Bluetooth helmet or headset.
Garmin’s new motorcycle navigator comes preloaded street-level maps of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico and more than six million points of interest including gas stations, lodging, restaurants and other locations. The device includes Lane assist, Auto re-route, photo navigation, built-in picture viewer and a microSD card slot.
Garmin zumo 220 will be available in March 2010 for $599.99.
