Lenovo officially announced its ThinkPad X100e ultraportable notebook powered by AMD’s processor and VisionPro technology. Boosted by choices of AMD Athlon Neo single and dual core processors and Turion dual core processors, the X100e has a small footprint and weighs less than 3 lbs.
The ThinkPad X100e comes with a 11.6-inch HD LCD display, a full-size spill-resistant keyboard, a mltitouch touchpad, Trackpoint, 4-in-1 card reader and a webcam. It supports WiFi 802.11n and optional Bluetooth and 3G. The ultraportable offers 2 hours of use with a 3-cell battery or 5 hours with a 6-cell.
Lenovo ThinkPad X100e is available in Midnight Black, Heatwave Red and Arctic White (not in the US) in smooth finishes. The price starts at $449.
