EZQuest launches the Thunder Pro A/V quad-interface external hard drive. The device has an aodized-aluminum enclosure and provides a security lock. The 3.5-inch Thunder Pro A/V hard drive offers USB 2.0, FireWire 400, FireWire 800 and eSATA interfaces. It uses Oxford 924 chipset and is available in 320GB, 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities. The drive has 32MB cache and operates at 7200RPM.
Designed got Audio and Video professionals, the Thunder Pro supports Multi-Stream DV, HDV, DVCPRO HD with Real Time Effects. It is pre-formatted for Max OS X, though it is also compatible with Windows. Users can rack up to 8 Thunder Pro drives using the Thunder Rack 8 accessory.
The EZQuest Thunder Pro A/V 32GB model is priced at $459. You can get the case only for $105 and add you own drive.
