LaCie, in collaboration with Symwave, build the world’s first USB 3.0 Dual-Drive RAID storage solution. The USB 3.0 RAID device uses Symwave’s SW6318 USB 3.0 standard-compliant dual SATA and RAID bridge controller and will be available in up to 4TB capacities.
The 2Big USB 3.0 Dual-Drive RAID offers up to 275MB/s burst read transfer speed, ideal for professionals who require a large data flow. LaCie will release the USB 3.0 2Big in early 2010 and showcase it at the CES 2010.
