RatocSystems launches in Japan the RAL-2496UT1 external USB sound card that also serves as a headphone amp. The RAL-2496UT1 offers Line-out, Optical out and Coaxial out and supports 24bit/96kHz and 24bit/88.2kHz sound. The device is priced at 54,000 Yen and will be released later this month.
