Sony introduces in Europe its new digital voice recorders, the 2GB ICD-UX200 and the 4GB ICD-UX300, ICD-UX300F. These recorders capture stereo sound as MP3 files and support playback of MP3, WMA and AAC audio formats.
Sony’s new UX200 allows up to 535 hours of recording while the UX300 offers 1072 hours. These audio recorders feature 21-step digital playback speed control makes it easier to hear exactly what’s been said without distortion when you’re transcribing that lecture, seminar or interview.
Compare to the UX300, the ICD-UX300F comes with addition FM tuner. All models offers up to 15 hours record / 83 hours playback time using an alkaline battery. They will be available in December 2009.
