Dell announced that China Mobile, world’s largest mobile network operator, will release the Dell Mini 3i smartphone by the end of this month. The Mini 3i is a slim multitouch smartphone based on China Mobile’s OPhone, an Android-based system, and Mobile Market plarforms.
The device supports quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. It features a 3.5-inch 640×360 touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, GPS, Bluetooth, micorSD/SDHC card slot and mini USB port.
The Dell Mini 3i supports access to China Mobile’s Mobile Market suite of services and applications as well as China’s popular Internet sites including 51.com, Kaixin and Renren. It measures 58.35 x 122 x 11.7mm and weighs less and 105 grams.
