Ooma launches the Ooma Telo Handset that “unlocks all the functionality of the Ooma Telo. Designed to use with the Ooma Telo, the Telo Handset utilizes the DECT 6.0 wireless technology for clear sound. It can download online phonebook and features Call ID display, speakerphone, One-touch voicemail access and call log. Each Ooma Telo supports up to four handsets.
The Telo Handset also supports premier features including instant second line, Personal Handset and Call screening. The Telo Handset is now available for $49.00 and the Telo for $233.56.
Ooma’s services basically allows you to call anywhere in the US with no monthly fees. You simply connect the device to your high-speed Internet and your existing phone, then you start calling. Also introduced is the Ooma International Calling Bundle for Premier level customers, that allows Ooma users to place calls to friends and family in over 70 countries and talk up to 500 minutes for the low rate of $4.99 per month or less than a penny per minute.
