Audio-Technica announced in Japan its new AT-PHA30i portable amplifier for iPod media players. The device connects via iPod’s dock connector and offers a 3.5mm audio jack. It features 20Hz-20,000Hz frequency response, 22mW max ouptput, and 110dB S/N ratio.
The AT-PHA30i gets power from your iPod. It also serves as a remote control with music and volume control buttons. It works with iPod touch 2G, iPod nano, iPod Classic and it seems iPhone is also supported.
Audio-Technica AT-PHA30i portable iPod amplifier will be released on 18 December 2009 for about 12,600 Yen. It comes in Silver and Black.
