Addonics introduces the Mini NAS (model NAS25HDU2), a small portable NAS enclosure/adapter the turns any 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD into a NAS. The Mini NAS adapter has 10/100Mbps Ethernet port and a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay.
Any 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD can be installed into the Mini NAS and become instantly sharable over the LAN. The enclosure has also a USB port for sharing printer over the LAN. It supports SMB (Server Message Block) and Samba network protocols and includes FTP server and BitTorrent client for direct download.
The Addonics Mini NAS is now available for $69.
