Dual Electronics introduces the XGPS300 GPS navigation cradle for Apple’s iPod touch portable media player. The cradle features built-in GPS receiver. Just dock your iPod touch to the cradle and install the NavAtlas turn-by-turn navigation iPhone app, you instantly get a portable GPS navigator for in-car or handheld use.
The XGPS300 cradle, other than GPS receiver, is also an external battery for iPod touch that double the battery life of the iPod. It comes with also built-in amplified Speaker for navigation voice prompts. The cradle includes also built-in microphone, 3.5mm audio jack and mini USB port. It works with most location-based apps.
Dual Electronics’ XGPS300 GPS cradle for iPod touch is priced at $179.99. It will be released soon and the package will include car mount and charging cable.
