Colfax International introduces the CXT8000, a 4U rackmount server that can be equipped with up to 8 NVIDIA Tesla GPUs and two Intel Xeon Nehalem 5500 series processors. The 19-inch 4U server can get a maximum of 144GB DDR3 ECC Registered Memory. It has two 2.5-inch SATA drive bays with RAID 0/1 support.
The Colfax CXT8000 packs also ASPEED AST2050 VGA controller and four Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet cards operating at independent PCI-E x1 interface. The CXT8000 is shipped with a minimum of four Tesla GPUs and starts at $16,000.
