Other than the new SPH-W8200 for Korean market, Samsung and Italian fashion house GIORGIO ARMANI introduces also a Windows Mobile-based smartphone that has a similar design as the W8200 slider. The new smartphone joins the first Giorgio Armani Samsung mobile phone and the Emporio Armani Samsung Night Effect.
The new Armani smartphone runs the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. It features a side-slide QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera, built-in GPS support, 8GB internal memory and a microSD card slot. WiFi is also available. The new handset will include Samsung’s TouchWiz widget-based UI. It’s media player supports H.264, MPEG4, DivX, XviD as well as MP3, WMA files. There are also FM tuner and TV-out.
The new Giorgio Armani-Samsung Windows Mobile phone will be priced at Euro 700.
