MSI announced the Core i7-powered gaming notebook PC. The 15.4-inch GT640 is powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor, Intel PM55 chipset, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and NVIDIA’s 1GB GeForce GTS250M graphics card. It gets an aluminum alloy casing with brushed metal texturing.
The GT640 has a 15.4-inch LCD display, up to 500GB hard drive and either a DVD SuperMulti or Blu-ray optical drive. The notebook support for WiFi 802.11b/g/n connection and comes with 4-in-1 card reader, 2 Megapixel webcam, eSATA/USB combo port, built-in speakers and HDMI port. The GT640 runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
