Samsung officially announced the AMOLED 12M SCH-W880 camera phone, which is the world’s first 12 Megapixel camera phone with a 3x optical zoom lens. The W880 features a 3.3-inch WVGA 800×480 AMOLED touchscreen and T-DMB mobile TV receiver, Bluetooth and 4GB internal storage.
Samsung AMOLED 12M’s 12 Megapixel camera can record 1280x720p HD video at 30fps and features Touch Auto Focus, a Xenon flash, shake reduction, face recognition and Smart Auto. The phone supports microSD memory cards up to 32GB.
Samsung AMOLED 12M SCH-W880 supports WCDMA 2100MHz and GSM900/1800/1900 networks. It will be available in Korean market in early October. A camera with phone functions or a phone with a camera? You decide.
