Sprint launches the Samsung Instinct HD touchscreen mobile phone, which is the latest follow-up to the Instinct. The Instinct HD comes with a so-called high-definition (HD) 5 Megapixel camera and camcorder but it doesn’t provide HD playback directly on the device. Instead, the Instinct HD offers HD TV-out for photo and video playback.

The Samsung Instinct HD works with Sprint’s EVDO Rev. A 3G networks and supports most of Sprint’s services, such as Sprint TV, streaming music, NFL Mobile Live, GPS navigation. It is priced at $249.99 with a new two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate.
