Dell introduces the Inspiron Mini 10v Ubuntu Moblin Remix Developer Edition, which is the first netbook running Intel’s Moblin platform. The Moblin is basically a Ubuntu-based platform optimized for mobile devices, which has a unique UI for the web users. To be exact, the Ubuntu Moblin Remix combines the core Moblin Version 2.0 interface, libraries, and applications with the internals of Ubuntu Linux 9.04.
Like the original Inspiron Mini 10v, the Moblin edition is powered by Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard drive. The device is targeted at Linux developers.
