In addition to the new Core i7 Aurora, Alienware introduces also the Core i7-based Area-51 and Area-51 ALX gaming desktop PCs for extreme gamers. These PCs boast Intel’s Core i7 processor up to a factory overclocked Core i7 975 3.60GHz processor and up to dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 graphics cards.
Area-51 and Area-51 ALX have up to 12GB of memory clocked at 1333MHz or 1600MHz respectively. They get up to six 7200RPM or 10000RPM hard drives or SSDs and dual Blu-ray drives. The liquid-cooled Area-51 and Area-51 ALX start at $1999.
