BrickHouse Security introduces the Global Watchman, a motion-activated cellular surveillance system. The Global Watchman is a rugged that is able to withstands the harshest elements day or night. It has 1.3 Megapixel camera and 50 infrared flash bulbs, capable of taking pictures up to 60 feet aways in complete darkness.
The device’s PIR technology senses changes in temperature (not motion), so that the presence of large animals triggers the device to record, while general motion (i.e., tree branches, wind) won’t set the device off. With the integrated Sprint modem, the Global Watchman send images using GSM and CDMA cellular networks to your phone or computer. Images are also stored on internal SD memory card.
