Sony Europe introduces the BDP-S760 Blu-ray Disc player with integrated WiFi-n, like the BDP-S560. Thanks to the wireless connectivity, users can easily access interactive content offered by BD-Live and run firmware updates for your player via the Internet.
Other than playing Full HD Blu-ray discs, the Sony BDP-S760 upconverts your old DVD to 1080p with the Precision Cinema HD Upscale technology. It supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The S760 includes aspects of Sony’s ES (Elevated Standard) advancements, the HD Reality Enhancer smoothes the image tone, and reduces picture noise to create a highly realistic display, the Super Bit Mapping for video ensures incredibly natural color reproduction and the Multi-channel Headphone Surround technology gives you a total surround sound experience even when you’re watching a movie on your standard headphones.
Sony BDP-S760 is DLNA compatible and has a USB port on the front panel for viewing digital photos easily.
Also announced its the STR-DN1000 AV Receiver that comes with S-AIR (Sony Audio Interactive Radio Frequency) Digital Wireless Ready technology and four HDMI ports. It has 1080i video scaling technology built-in, x.v.Co lour and Deep Co lour support and intelligent DCAC (Digital Cinema Auto Calibration) technology.
