TomTom announced the new GO x50 LIVE series portable navigation devices (PND), including the GO 950 LIVE, GO 750 LIVE, and GO 550 LIVE. All three devices come with TomTom’s IQ Routes technology with a fully optimized user interface.
TomTom’s GO x50 LIVE series features the LIVE snapshot that shows you HD Traffic, safety alerts and fuel prices, the Eco Routes option for drivers to select the most fuel-efficient route to help reduce their impact on the environment, access to RDS-TMC real-time traffic updates.
The TomTom GO 950 Live comes pre-loaded with maps for door-to-door navigation in US, Canada and 45 countries in Europe and offers Enhanced Positioning Technology (EPT) for uninterrupted navigation even when driving through tunnels. The GO 750 Live has maps for door-to-door navigation across 45 countries in Europe while the GO 550 LIVE gets maps of specific country or region in Europe.
These GPS device will be available in Autumn and pricing has not been announced. The LIVE services are available on subscription basis for a flat fee of 9.95 Euro per month.
