Brookstone offers the iConvert, a video converter that turns your old VHS tapes, DVD and TV shows into digital video without the need of a computer. The iConvert uses SD/SDHC memory cards as storage media.
Simply plug the iConvert to your camcorder, DVD player, VCR or any devices with Composite A/V output and insert SD/SDHC cards. One your press the Play button, the iConvert transfers your video to the SD/SDHC cards in digital format, at the same time you can watch the playback. Videos are record in ASF format with up to 640×480 VGA resolution.
The iConvert supports both PAL and NTSC TV system. Priced at $99.95, the package includes AV cable and viewing and editing software for Windows.
