While Asus and Disney have the Netpal, Dell and Nickelodeon have partnered to introduce the Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition netbook PC designed for kids. This special edition netbook wrapped in an eye-catching, Nickelodeon-inspired “slime” artwork scheme and is pre-loaded with entertaining and educational content that will also appeal to moms and dads.
Based on Dell’s Mini 10v, the Nickelodeon netbook gets an Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, up to 160GB hard drive, a 10.1-inch LCD display, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. The netbook will be available in October. There are also additional designs based on Nickelodeon hit properties of iCarly and SpongeBob SquarePants.
