According to PCWorld, Lenovo and China Mobile will launch the O1 OPhone in China. The O1 is the first 3G phone to run OMS (Open Mobile System), China Mobile’s Android-based OS. The OPhone supports TD-SCDMA 3G standard.
The OPhone is powered by a 624MHz processor and has 8GB or 16GB internal storage. It features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera, support for GPS, and is WiFi (WAPI) ready. The phone is also able to handle CMMD and MBBMS digital TV.
