Inventec, one of the Taiwan OEM makers, shows us the Rainbow, a Smartbook based on NVIDIA’s Tegra platform. The 10-inch Rainbow is boosted by a NVIDIA Tegra 600 600MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 256MB flash memory. It get a 10.1-inch 1024×576 LCD display and supports WiFi 80.211b/g and HSPA or EVDO 3G connectivity.
The Inventec Rainbow is also equipped with built-in GPS receiver and DTV digital TV tuner. Thanks to the power-saving Tegra, the Rainbow offers 240 hours of standby and is able to playback 720p HD video continuosly for 6 hours. The smartbook runs Windows CE 6.x OS.
Inventec is also planning two more Smartbooks for H1 2010, the slim Miranda and the touchscreen Samantha.
