It looks like Panasonic is preparing its Lumix DMC-GF1 compact Micro Four Thirds digital SLR. The Lumix GF1 will be competing the Olympus’ E-P1 as both them are based on the Micro Four Thirds system and probably use the same image sensor module.
Unlike the E-P1, the Lumix GF1 is equipped with pop-up flash light. It will have a 12 Megapixel image sensor, Supersonic anti-dust, a 3-inch LCD display and 720p 30fps HD video recording capability. The compact DSLR doesn’t include anti-shake ability. It will be bundled with a 20mm f1.7/45mm f2.8 m lens. It needs a detachable EVF.
