Buffalo HDS-PH500U2 500GB Rugged, Auto-encrypted Hard Drive

Buffalo introduces the HDS-PH500U2, an external hard drive that has 500GB capacity, a rugged shock-resistant design and automatic data encryption function. All files stored in the drive are protected with AES 128 bit encryption and users have to enter password in order to access stored files.

Buffalo HDS-PH500U2 5400RPM hard drive uses USB 2.0 interface. It is also available with 160GB and 320GB densities. The 500GB version is priced at 23,200 Yen.
