Onkyo announced two new 7.1-channel home theater systems, the HT-S7200 and HT-S6200. Both model include 7.1-channel speaker system with a active subwoofer and provide 130 watt-per-channel amplification. The new Dolby ProLogic IIz processing is also supported.
Onkyo’s new HTIB are compatible with 1080p HD video. The top-line HT-S7200 does also upscaling of component and composite video sources to 1080i. These home theater systems support Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio lossless audio decoding and include Audyssey 2EQ room correction and calibration system, Audyssey Dynamic EQ, and Audyssey Dynamic Volume.
Both S7200 and S6200 have seven speakers with gloss black finishes and a powerful subwoofer. The Onkyo HT-S7200 comes with dual-drive tallboy front speakers consisting of dual 3-1/4-inch woofers and 1-inch balanced dome tweeter. They both have Universal Port (U-Port) for connecting UP-A1 iPod dock.
Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 are priced at $899 and $699 respectively.
