Other than the Zi8 pocket HD camcorder, Kodak introduces the KODAK Theatre HD Player, a wireless media streamer with 1080p support. The device allows you to enjoy media content on your HDTV. It connect to your home network via WiFi 802.11b/g/n or Ethernet and does media streaming from networked computer or the web such as YouTube or internet radio.
The Theatre HD player does also local playback from SD, MMC, CF, MS, xD, SDHC memory cards ot USB storage devices. It supports 1080p playback and plays most media formats, as listed below. The player comes with a “Point and Play” motion-sensing remote control and offers the collage views function that collect photos on PC and show them by date.
The wireless HD media player offers HDMI 1.2 output, Component, analog audio and digital audio outputs. Kodak Theatre HD Player is priced at $199.99.
