Eye-Fi introduces the Eye-Fi Geo WiFi wireless SD memory card that is exclusive to Apple and comes with unlimited lifetime geotagging service. The Eye-Fi Geo is built to seamlessly integrate with iPhoto ’09 and ’08, the iPhone and MobileMe.
It can wirelessly uploads photos straight to a folder on your computer or iPhoto gallery where they arrive automatically geotagged with location information about where the image was captured. Users can also upgrade the new Eye-Fi card to share images online at MobileMe or one of more than 20 other photo sharing and social networking sites for a $9.99 annual fee.
The Eye-Fi Geo has 2GB capacity and is priced at $59.99. It is now available exclusively at Apple stores.
