In addition to the FZ35 and the FP8, Panasonic introduces also the Lumix DMC-ZR1 ultra slim digital camera that uses the world’s first 0.3mm thin aspherical lens. The thin LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens offers 8x optical zoom and 25mm wide angle.
The ZR1 has a 12.1 Megapixel sensor and 4x digital zoom. It offers the POWER OIS image stabilization, High Dynamic Mode as well as the Intelligent Auto (iA) Mode that includes Face Detection and Recognition, Intelligent ISO Control and Intelligent Scene Selector.
The slim camera can record 848×480 video at 30fps. Users can use the 2.7-inch LCD display to review photos and videos captured. Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 will be available in September in Black, Silver, Red, Blue for $279.95.
