Panasonic brings a new model to its FP-series that offers stylish design. Dubbed as the Lumix DMC-FP8 the compact camera has a 12.1 Megapixel image sensor and a 4.6x Leica DC lens with 28mm wide angle. The FP8 has a futuristic-looking stylish body.
Like the new FZ35, the Lumix FP8 features the new POWER O.I.S., Intelligent Auto (iA) mode with Face Detection, Venus Engine V image processor, ISO up to 6400, Intelligent Exposure and 27 scene modes. The camera is able to record 1280x720p or 848×480 HD video at 30fps. It is VIERA Link ready. There is a 2.7-inch LCD display.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP8 will be available in Black, Red and Silver. It will come in September for $299.95.
