Marshal launches in Japan a new ultra slim portable Blu-ray writer, the MAL-BDP02U2 that is just 20mm thick. Other than writing BD-R/BD-RE single layer at 2X and BD-R/RE double layer at 1X, the slim slot-in burner can burn also DVD+/-R at 8X, DVD+/-RW at 4X, DVD+/-R DL at 2.4X and DVD-RAM t 5X. CD-R/RW are also supported as well.
The Marshal MAL-BDP02U2 uses USB 2.0 interface. It works with Windows 2000/XP/Vista. It weighs 304g.
