SPOT, part of Globalstar, introduces the new SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger replacing the original SPOT Satellite personal tracker. The new GPS Messenger is 30 smaller and lighter than the old model. The device features a advanced GPS chipset and a enhanced satellite antenna for improved performance in foliage or canopied environments.
The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger has a dedicated GPS tracking button and a dedicated pre-programmable Custom Message button. It offers a GPS Acquisition light and a “Message Sending” indicator light. There are protective covers over S.O.S and Help button to prevent inadvertent message transmission.
All the buttons are lluminated and the device is available in Orange or Silver. The compact rugged SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger will be released later this fall.
