As ClearWire expands the coverage of Mobile WiMAX, Samsung brings the Mondi (aka SWD-M100) mobile internet device that is designed to be used with the Clear Mobile WiMAX service. The Mondi is a MID with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
Samsung’s Mondi features a 4.3-inch 800×480 touchscreen, GPS support, a 3 Megapixel camera, WiFi and Bluetooth. The Windows Mobile-based MID is preloaded with Opera 9.5 internet browser, WIndows Live Messenger as well as apps for Fring and Gypsii. It supports DivX and XviD video playback.
In addition to 4GB internal memory, the Mondi supports SD/SDHC up to 32GB.
