Panasonic announced in Japan the AVCCAM AG-HMC45U compact professional Full HD camcorder. The AG-HMC45U is equipped with a 1/4.1-inch 3.05 Megapixel 3MOS image sensor that allows it to record Full HD 1920x1080p video at 24Mbps. The camcorder records to SD/SDHC memory cards. A 32GB SDHC is can store up to 180 minutes of 24Mbps full HD footage or up to 720 minutes of 6Mbps video.
As its name suggests, the AVCCAM AG-HMC45U will record in AVCHD format. It will be bundled with EDIUS Neo 2 software. It will be available in Japan in August for about 266,700 Yen.
