Like the smaller PocketSurfer, the UbiSurfer supports GPRS (dual-band 900MHz/1800mHz) and has embedded SIM card. WiFi 802.11b/g and Ethernet connections are alo supported. The device has 128MB RAM and 1GB flash memory.
The UbiSurfer comes with a 7-inch 800×480 LCD display, a touchpad, and full QWERTY keyboard. Designed as an internet device, it has Firefox browser pre-installed and supports DataWind’s web acceleration system. Audio and video streaming are not supported. Other features include a SD acrd slot, a microphone, three USB ports and an earphone jack. The battery can provide four hours of usage.
