Collins America re-introduces its CinemaView LCD displays with Mini DisplayPort for Mac computers. The new CinemaView is not available in 24-inch and 47-inch screen sizes. They both offer 1920×1080 resolution. The CinemaView 24 features 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio while the CinemaView 47 has 4000:1 contrast and 500cd/m2 brightness. CinemaView 24 and CinemaView 47 will be released in October 2009 and January 2010 for $499 and $1499 respectively.
Along with the new displays, there is the CinemaView TV HD TV tuner with a Mini DisplauyPort and four HDMI connectors. It costs $399 and will come on January 2010.
